Tevfik Eraslan, the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of our company, has 26 years of industry experience. After performing his duties as the General Manager of İş Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş which is the leading institution of the sector and the Presidency of the Turkish Capital Markets Association he established Rota Portfolio Management A.Ş. in 2021. Mr. Eraslan still serves as a member of Borsa İstanbul Board of Directors.

Education

Mr. Eraslan holds a BA from the Faculty of Economics of Istanbul University and an MA in Capital Markets from the Institute of Social Sciences of Istanbul University.

He attended "Pension Fund Management" training programs at Wharton Business School, "Global Fund Management" at Insead University and CFA Joint Program, and "Executive Management" at Columbia University.

Eraslan is married and has two children.

In the field of capital markets; He started his career in the Department of Treasury, Mutual Funds and Portfolio Management, and continued in IS Investment Securities between 2001 and 2014, taking various positions in the departments of Treasury, Domestic Markets and Portfolio Management.

He served as the Head of the Portfolio Management Department at IS Investment, which provides services in different areas of capital markets, particularly in mutual funds, hedge funds, capital-protected funds, exchange traded funds and special portfolio management.

At the beginning of 2014, he assumed the position of Assistant General Manager responsible for Investments and Financial and Administrative Affairs at Is Portfolio. After graduating from Boğaziçi University, Department of Mathematics, Emrah Yücel completed his master's degree in Business Administration at the University of West Georgia in 1998.

At the beginning of 2022, he decided to continue his career as Assistant General Manager at Rota Portfolio, the young enterprise of the sector.

Tankut Taner Çelik has 34 years of sectoral experience. During this time, he has gained in-depth knowledge in the fields of management, financial markets, investment products, pension funds, corporate finance and asset management. Quantitative research, system trading and data platforms are among his primary areas of interest.

He served as General Manager at ING Portfoy and of Ziraat Portfoy respectively beween 2003-2021 , and was also a member of the boards of ING Pension Inc., ING Securities Inc., and Ziraat Portfolio Inc. After voluntarily leaving professional life in 2021, he worked independently for a while before joining Rota Portfolio.

He got his undergraduate degree in Business Administration (english curriculum) at Marmara University, earned his master’s degree at the University of Manchester, and completed his PhD at Istanbul Technical University.

Mahmut Kaya has approximately 30 years of industry experience in economy, financial markets, company financial analysis and forecasting, investment and pension fund management.

He started his career as an equity analyst at ING Barings London in 1995. He worked as a senior stock analyst in the Istanbul office of the same institution until 1998.

He served as Deputy General Manager responsible for research at Garanti BBVA Investment between 1998 and 2012. Between 2012 and 2022, he served as Deputy General Manager responsible for investment management and then General Manager at Garanti BBVA Portföy.

After completing his undergraduate education in engineering at Istanbul Technical University in 1990, he received his master's degree in business administration at the same university and received his MBA degree from London Business School in 1996.

Tolga Macit Güsar, Portföy Yönetimi, Yatırım Danışmanlığı ve Özel Bankacılık alanlarında 25 yılı aşan deneyime sahiptir.

1997-2007 yılları arasında Garanti Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş’de Fon Yöneticisi, Müdür, Koordinatör, 2008-2009 yılları arasında  EFG İstanbul Menkul Değerler A.Ş. – Direktör, 2009-2017 yılları arasında Garanti Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. - Koordinatör ve Genel Müdür Yardımcısı, 2018-2020 yılları arası TEB A.Ş. – Direktör, 2020-2024 yılları arası EB A.Ş. - Grup Direktörü ve 2023-2024 yılları arasında TEB Yatırım A.Ş. - Yönetim Kurulu Üyesi görevinde bulunmuş ardından 2024 Ekim ayında Rota Portföy’e katılmıştır.

Lisans eğitimini Boğaziçi Üniversitesi İşletme bölümünü tamamladıktan sonra, yüksek lisansını Yeditepe Üniversitesi, MBA, doktorasını ise İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi'nde yapmıştır.

Özlem Bayraktar Gökşen, who has 23 years of experience in the sector, worked at Tacirler Yatırım Menkul Değerler for more than six years before joining Rota Portfolio, and previously as an Economist at Philip Capital, Unicorn Capital, Ekspres Investment, HC Istanbul and Ege Yatırım Menkul Değerler  and presented strategies and current analyzes on macroeconomic developments to both domestic and international institutional investors.

Gökşen, after receiving her undergraduate degree from the Department of Econometrics, Faculty of Economics, Istanbul University, attended the "Global Business Management" program at the University of California Riverside, and then received her master's degree from Marmara University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Political Science and International Relations.

Born in Eskişehir in 1983, Kerem AKSOY graduated from 9 Eylül University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Econometrics in 2006. He completed his master’s degree in International Finance at Istanbul Bilgi University Social Sciences Institute. He started his career as an Assistant Specialist at Deniz Yatirim Menkul Degerler A.Ş in 2006, was a Treasury Specialist at TEB Yatirim Menkul Degerler A.Ş between 2007-2008, and Specialist in the Treasury Department of Garanti Bankasi A.Ş. He served as Assistant Manager at IS Yatirim Menkul Degerler A.Ş between 2012-2016, and as Senior Manager at Ünlü Menkul Degerler A.Ş Invesment Advisory Unit between 2016-2018. He worked as a Manager in Borsa Istanbul A.Ş Product Development Department as of December 2018, was appointed as a Manager in the Business Development Department as of Agust 2020. He is married and has a child.

Born in Denizli in 1985, Seher Üstün Ersoy has been working as a Director in the Sales and Investment Consultancy Department at Rota Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. since January 2024.

Ersoy graduated from Denizli Er-Bakır Science High School in 2003, and from Istanbul University's Department of Economics in English in 2007, and then completed his master's degree in Economics - Thesis in English at Istanbul University Social Sciences Institute, and was accepted to Sabancı University Executive MBA Program in 2014. Participated as a student.

He started his career at Garanti Bankası A.Ş. in 2007. Ersoy, who started his career in the Private Banking Department, started his career at Garanti Bankası A.Ş. in 2011. He continued in the Investment Banking Department and served as Senior Investment Products Manager at Garanti Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. until 2024. It holds Capital Market Activities Level 3 and Derivative Instruments licenses.

He started his career in the field of retail banking in 1995 and worked in the operations and marketing teams of the head office retail and corporate banking departments at Esbank, Garanti and EGSBank.

He started working at IS Investment in 2006 and served as the Financial and Administrative Affairs Manager while continuing his duties as Department Manager and Deputy Manager.

Ulaş Vergili, who has a bachelor's degree from Istanbul University Sociology and Anadolu University Faculty of Business Administration, joined the Rota Portföy family in August 2023.

He holds Capital Market Activities Level 3, Derivative Instruments, Credit Rating and Corporate Governance licenses.

Born in Niğde in 1975, Buket Üçelhan graduated from the Accounting Department of Selçuk University in 1993 and from Anadolu University, Faculty of Business Administration in 2002. Üçelhan, who started her career in 1995 as an Accounting Officer at Ahmet Veli Menger Holding A.Ş., Accounting Manager at Alternatif Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. (2002- 2009),  She worked as an Assistant Accounting Manager at İş  Asset Management AŞ (2009-2022). She has a Capital Market Activities Level 3 license. She is married and has two children.

Çalışma hayatına Sanko Menkul Değerler Araştırma Bölümü’nde başlayan Selma Çelik, sonrasında Deniz Portföy Araştırma Bölümünde bir süre çalışmış, 2005 yılında Garanti Emeklilik Hazine ve Emeklilik Fonları Bölümü’nde göreve başlamış ve 2021 yılına kadar devam etmiştir. Kariyerine 2021 yılında Fonart Sigorta ve Aracılık Hizmetleri ve Fonart Eğitim Danışmanlık şirketlerinin kurucusu olarak devam eden Çelik, aynı zamanda Kasım 2023’ten beri Rota Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş.’ de   Satış ve Yatırım Danışmanlığı Bölümü ‘nde Müdür olarak görev yapmaktadır. 

İstanbul Üniversitesi İşletme dalında lisans eğitimi alan Çelik, Sabancı Üniversitesi’nde Executive MBA ve ABD’de Massachusetts Institute of Technology’de finans ve girişimcilik eğitimini tamamlamış olup, Marmara Üniversitesi İktisat Politikası Yüksek Lisans eğitimine devam etmektedir. Bireysel emeklilik fonları, kurumsal ve bireysel portföy konusunda uzmanlığa sahip olan ÇELİK, müşterilerimize uzman portföy yönetimi hizmeti verirken müşterilerimizin tüm ihtiyaçlarına tecrübeleri ile yardımcı olmaya devam etmektedir.  Sermaye Piyasası Faaliyetleri Düzey 3 ve lisansına sahiptir.

He has been working as Manager in the Investment Consultancy and Distribution Channels Department at Rota Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. since October 2023. He started his career at İş Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. in 2006 and worked in various departments such as Research, Sales & Marketing and Board Rapporteur Department until 2021.

Selin Akdemir has a Bachelor's degree from Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of West Georgia. She has Capital Market Activities Level 3 and Derivative Instruments licenses.

Hande Özdemir is a graduate of Yıldız Technical University, Department of Statistics. She started his career in the Treasury department of Global Investment Holdings. Afterwards, she worked at the following companies: Şeker Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. Operations Department, Ashmore Portfolio Management A.Ş. Fund Operations Department, Istanbul Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş Fund Operations Department., Alternatif Bank A.Ş. Market Risk Management Department, Alternatif Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. de Risk Management Department.

She has been working in the Risk Management Department of Rota Portfolio Management since January 2023. She has Capital Market Activities Level 3 and Derivative Instruments licenses.

Tuğçe Çelikyürek  Fon Operasyonları departmanında Müdür olarak görev almaktadır.

 Kariyerine 2016 yılında Aktif Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş.’nde başlamış olup, Mali İşler ve Operasyon bölümü Müdür Yardımcısı olarak 2022 yılına kadar görevini sürdürmüştür.

 Yeditepe Üniversitesi, İktisadi Ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi, İktisat Bölümü’nden lisans derecesini aldıktan sonra yüksek lisans derecesini Marmara Üniversitesi’nde Finansal Piyasalar Ve Yatırım Yönetimi üzerine tamamlamıştır.

Mehmet Gürbüz graduated from Anadolu University, Department of Business Administration. It has Capital Market Activities Level 3 and Derivative Instruments licenses.

He started his career at Yapı Kredi Bank as a Retail Customer Representative. After working as a Retail Customer Representative between 2014 and 2017, he started to work as an Internal Control Specialist at Aktif Investment Bank in 2017. In this role, he contributed to the Bank's internal control activities.

Mehmet Gürbüz, who started to work as an Inspector at Aktif Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. in June 2018, carried out studies within the scope of inspection and internal control activities. He has been working as an Inspector and Internal Control Manager at Rota Portfolio Management Inc. since January 2022.

Asset Manager

Alper Toprak graduated from Trakya University, Department of International Relations. It has a Capital Market Activities Level 1 license.

He started his career at HSBC Bank in 2019 as a Teller Officer and was later promoted to the position of Assistant Sales Operations Specialist.

He started working at Aktifbank as a Stock Operations Specialist in May 2022. He has been working as Operations Manager at Rota Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. since January 2024.

Büşra Öztaş, who has been working at Rota Portföy since September 2023, graduated from Marmara University Capital Markets and Anadolu University International Relations undergraduate departments.

She started her career in the Accounting Department of Ilab Ventures.

She worked in the Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance and Internal Control Department at Turkish Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş., and in the Internal Control and Compliance Department at Deniz Yatırım Menkul Kıymetler A.Ş.

Capital Market Activities Level 3 and Derivative Instruments License is available.

1969 yılında Sinop’ta doğan Ramazan Balcı 1992 – 1999 yılları arasında T. İş Bankası Menkul Kıymetler Müdürlüğü idari işler bölümünde akabinde de 2000 – 2021 yılları arasında İş Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş şirketinde Genel Müdür Şoförü olarak görev yapmıştır.

 Kasım 2021 tarihi itibari ile Rota Portföy ’de görevine devam etmektedir.
