Tevfik Eraslan, the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of our company, has 26 years of industry experience. After performing his duties as the General Manager of İş Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş which is the leading institution of the sector and the Presidency of the Turkish Capital Markets Association he established Rota Portfolio Management A.Ş. in 2021. Mr. Eraslan still serves as a member of Borsa İstanbul Board of Directors.

Mr. Eraslan holds a BA from the Faculty of Economics of Istanbul University and an MA in Capital Markets from the Institute of Social Sciences of Istanbul University.

He attended "Pension Fund Management" training programs at Wharton Business School, "Global Fund Management" at Insead University and CFA Joint Program, and "Executive Management" at Columbia University.

Eraslan is married and has two children.

Uğur Ayaydın, born in Mardin in 1970, graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Economic Sciences, Department of Economics. Since 1992, İpekyol Giyim San. Paz. ve Tic.A.Ş. and worked in various levels such as production, supply and marketing. 

Ugur Ayaydın has been the general manager of the Ayaydın & Miroglio Group since 2010, which merged with the Italian fabric giant Miroglio in 2008 and has become one of the leading companies in the Turkish ready-made clothing industry with its İpekyol, Machka, Twist brands.

Uğur Ayaydın, who is married and the father of two children, speaks English.

Evren Ucok is also an active investor in private and public equity markets, focusing on financial services, consumer internet, enterprise tech, biotech and decarbonisation.  He is also an anchor investor and senior advisor in ca. 20 specialist funds.

Evren is also a Cofounder and Chairman of Trendyol Group, the leading ecommerce platform in Turkey, now expanding globally, and the first decacorn from Turkey.

Evren is also a Cofounder of Peak Games, which was the first unicorn exit from Turkey, and a seed investor of Uipath, first decacorn from Romania with a $30bn IPO, and Propertyfinder, one of the leading unicorns from the MENA region.

He is also a cofounder of the Digital East Fund (DEF) franchise, which was set up to address the VC funding gap in Eastern and Turkey.  DEF1 is the top performing institutional fund from EMEA (ever) with ca. 15x TVPI.

Previously, Evren was a senior partner at Oliver Wyman where he worked for ca. 14 years and advised ca. 70 leading financial institutions on key strategic issues.

Evren graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennslyvania with two degrees, namely Finance and Mathematics (summa cum laude).

Murat Çetinkaya graduated from the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Boğaziçi University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences under a double major program with the Sociology department of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the same university. He completed his doctoral studies at Boğaziçi University's Institute of Social Sciences. After holding senior positions in the banking sector, he was appointed as the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, and then in 2016, he was appointed as the Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. Mr. Çetinkaya is among the regional and global opinion leaders in macroeconomics, monetary policy, and financial markets.

Özhan OLCAY was born in Istanbul in 1965 and graduated from Cornell University’s Department of Civil Engineering in 1988. He taught Mathematics and Turkish as Assistant Teacher at Cornell University (1987-1988) and worked as International Business Development Manager at ATSI INC. Buffalo between 1989-1991. He was responsible for the Kartal Hotel Project in Marmaris, Turkey till 1993. From 1993 to 1999 he has worked at Pekintaş Group at several positions and in 1999 he was appointed to the The General Manager and CEO position of the Group.   Olcay, who speaks English and German, is married with two children. 

In the field of capital markets; He started his career in the Department of Treasury, Mutual Funds and Portfolio Management, and continued in IS Investment Securities between 2001 and 2014, taking various positions in the departments of Treasury, Domestic Markets and Portfolio Management.

He served as the Head of the Portfolio Management Department at IS Investment, which provides services in different areas of capital markets, particularly in mutual funds, hedge funds, capital-protected funds, exchange traded funds and special portfolio management.

At the beginning of 2014, he assumed the position of Assistant General Manager responsible for Investments and Financial and Administrative Affairs at Is Portfolio. After graduating from Boğaziçi University, Department of Mathematics, Emrah Yücel completed his master's degree in Business Administration at the University of West Georgia in 1998.

At the beginning of 2022, he decided to continue his career as Assistant General Manager at Rota Portfolio, the young enterprise of the sector.

Defne Olcay was born in Istanbul in 1999. In 2021, she graduated from Emory University in Atlanta with a degree in Business Administration, specializing in Strategy and Management Consulting, and a double major in Psychology. Between 2020 and 2021, she worked at İş Bankası (İş Yatırım). She has been continuing her career as the Business Development Manager at Pekintaş Group since 2021. Olcay is fluent in Turkish, English, and French.
